Northeast of Koper, the castle of Socerb is providing a wonderful view at the northern Adratic from Triest to Piran; and also at the bank of the village Tinjan, a magnificent panorama is awating visitors. The castle origins in the 13th century and has been battled by the Habsburger, the Venetians and the Turks. At the end of the 18th century, the castle was destructed to a large extend by fire, and not until 1925 it was reconstructed by a noble of Triest. Visitors are not only coming because of the unique view, but appreciate as well the most pleasing restaurant.
