Discover Slovenia...

The country of Slovenia is neat, but not too small: from the east to the west of the country it is only 250 km, and about 150 km between the north and the south - that’s perfect for excrsion and trips of any kind. Three different climatic and cultural zones are lying close to each other: the Central-European, the Alpine and the Mediterranean region. Slovenia is historically and scenically fascinating. The mountains remind of Austria and Switzerland, its lowlands resemble southern Germany or northern France, the small Adriatic coastline has definitely Italian charm. The country is convincing with its variety of sights: lakeside Bled, the Triglav national park, the stud of Lipica, the baroque capital Ljubljana, the coastal towns of Piran and Portoroz or the caves and caverns of Postojna, only to name a few.

And for those, who just can’t get enough, this paradise between Alps and Adriatic is a perfect base for excursions and day-trips i.e. to Italy (Venice by boat), to Austria (Klagenfurt or Graz are within comfortable reach by car), to Hungary or to Croatia heading south (Istria and Zagreb are within short distance).

And by the way, despite all these advantages, Slovenia is still an insider tip and hasn’t been overrun by mass tourism yet. Make your reservation now…
